Kunwar Singh College was established with a vision to produce a society of learned and aware individuals who can contribute to the overall development of the society, minimize the urban rural segments by sustainable and inclusive growth by acquiring in depth knowledge of various disciplines through higher education.
As the majority of our students come from economically weaker sections and environmentally flood prone areas, it gets very difficult for them to attend the classes regularly all-round the year. The faculty continuously facilitates them with extra classes, communication skill, computer education and other soft skills. The process starts with the beginning of the admission where the prospectus/handbook provides first-hand information about the sacrifice of Veer Kunwar Singh and general rules and regulations of the college, admission procedure, fee-structure, selection list, list of departments and faculties, mission of the college, moral values and discipline together with scholarship, fee concession and list of college committees.
The college is committed towards the development of the minority, downtrodden and economically weaker section through reservation in admission, concession in railway travelling after producing the relevant documents for various competitive exams. College also guides such students through career counselling cell and equal opportunity centre. Poor boys fund is also active in the college.
For students with physical disabilities, classes are organized at the ground floor as far as possible. During University examinations visually impaired candidates are given support as per the guidelines set up by the University and UGC. For such type of students, teachers try to remove the obstacles and create self confidence in them. In order to make the students employable and job oriented college helps them through carrier counselling cell and psychological counselling cell.
This section will deal with all the information pertaining to a student such as personal, academic as well as digital document and student report.
