To understand and interpret the various aspects of Hindi Literature and it's literary forms to fetch a complete Canvas of literature and society. To make an attempt to discover the morphology, phonology and syntax of Hindi. Elaborating and designing simple ways of learning the philosophical methods of Hindi literature and it's importance in contemporary society and it's people. Also exploring the importance of official language Hindi worldwide. And it's importance in Media and Television and Translation.

Course Specific Outcomes

  • Understanding the origin of Hindi language and its literature. Studying as well as analysing of the development and stages of dialects of Modern Aryan Indian languages.
  • Development of Hindi as an Official Language and its implementation to the Pan India. Developing teaching pedagogy to understand the concept of History of literature. it emphasis and rediscover the socio-cultural lineage and rich ethos of Hindi Literature.The study of classification of Hindi literature and various forms of literature-prose, poetry, travelogues, sketch, Biography and Autobiography helps to draw a vivid picturesque of people and society.
  • Hindi being an official language of India holds a strong position in todays post -modernist Era. Inculcation of Media (print and electronic)Studies, Translation Theory,Prayojanmulak Hindi, Drama and Theatre helps the students to explore new domain of knowledge and research.
  • Understanding the features of Aadikal, Bhakti kal, Reetikaal and Aadhunik kaal , in context of Socio – cultural and political condition of that period.The various sub-division of these periods helps to rediscover the glorious past.
  • Identifying the eminent Hindi writers of each period and developing the ability to write critics on their work. In addition to this, a descriptive and comparative study of Indian and Western poetics is remarkable achievement of the course program.
  • Encourage the literary trends of Modern Hindi Literature, Various discourses-Dalit Discourse, Women Discourse , Subaltern Theory ,Folk and Tribal Writings adds new perspective of interpretation of Hindi literature and society.
